No matter what your recreational interests are, there is something to do in Cañon City! A public library, museums and art center serve our community. People in the community have diverse interests as evidenced by over 150 clubs and organizations in the area. The mild climate is ideal for fishing, hunting, hiking, bicycling and other outdoor recreation. We have small parks among the residential neighborhoods, and larger, more diverse mountain parks surrounding the community. An 18 hole golf course lies in the hills south of town. |
